Huggi Bear Chain Conveyors
The Huggi Bear Chain Conveyor is the most heavy duty, easy to maintain conveyor in the car wash market today.
Track
● The Huggi Bear Chain Conveyor employs a unique approach to keeping tires in the
center of the conveyor track by using 2 bars that guide the wheel throughout the length of the conveyor. These 3 /4” thick bars also act as a guide to keep the rollers centered on the conveyor and work as wear bars preventing erosion to the frame of the conveyor itself.
Rollers
● The Huggi Bear Chain Conveyor’s unique roller is built to last with 1” heavy duty axle shaft. The Welded steel wheels on each end of the roller provides twice the life as similar plastic models. The steel wheels ride on the 3 /4” wear bars preventing any damage to the frame of the conveyor.
Exit Door
● The Huggi Bear Chain Conveyor’s one of a kind exit door is not pushed open by the roller itself like many of the other chain conveyors on the market today. Its unique design opens the door before the roller reaches the exit minimizing wear and tear to the rollers.
HB 1000S
● The 1000S version of the Huggi Bear Chain Conveyor is the perfect option for high volume washes. Utilizing a 5-tooth Sprocket the HB 1000S provides 30% more speed when compared to the 4-tooth sprocket of HB 1000 model.

About the Huggi Chain Conveyors
Conveyor-style tunnels and roll-over-style car wash systems are both popular choices for automated car wash operations, each with its own set of advantages. Here are the benefits of a conveyor-style tunnel over a roll-over-style system:
1. Higher Throughput: Conveyor-style tunnels typically have higher throughput capacity compared to roll-over systems. This is because multiple cars can be processed simultaneously in a conveyor system, with each car moving continuously through the tunnel, while in a roll-over system, only one car is processed at a time.
2.Faster Processing Time: Due to the continuous movement of vehicles in conveyor-style tunnels, the overall processing time per vehicle is often shorter compared to roll-over systems. This can result in shorter wait times for customers and higher customer satisfaction.
3.Consistent Cleaning Quality: Conveyor-style tunnels provide more consistent cleaning quality as each car goes through a standardized process, ensuring uniform cleaning results. Roll-over systems may have variations in cleaning quality depending on factors such as operator skill and technique.
4.Automated Operations: Conveyor-style tunnels are highly automated, requiring minimal manual intervention once the car enters the system. This automation leads to increased efficiency and reduced labor costs compared to roll-over systems, which may require more manual labor for positioning and washing the vehicle.
5.Versatility: Conveyor-style tunnels can accommodate a wide range of vehicle sizes and shapes, including larger vehicles such as vans and trucks. They can also be easily integrated with additional features such as pre-wash, waxing, and drying systems. Roll- over systems may have limitations in accommodating larger vehicles and additional features.
6.Reduced Risk of Damage: Conveyor-style tunnels often have gentle washing mechanisms designed to minimize the risk of damage to the vehicle's exterior. Roll-over systems, while generally safe when operated correctly, may pose a slightly higher risk of contact damage due to the closer proximity of the equipment to the vehicle.
7.Scalability: Conveyor-style tunnels are more easily scalable compared to roll-over systems. Additional conveyor sections can be added to increase throughput capacity as demand grows, making it easier to expand the car wash business.
